Job Description:

Providing support for LAN infrastructure ( desktop, and laptop troubleshooting )
Troubleshooting on Windows XP OS issues
Outlook configuring and troubleshooting on all kind of issues in Outlook which include creating .pst, adding different mailbox to user.
Providing support for VPN using dial-up connection, wireless connection and broadband connection
Providing support for Outlook Web Access
Providing support for the Blackberry Enterprise Server
A very good understanding of the Corporate network connection
This is for an enterprise level troubleshooting wherein you’ll be the part of the team who will be providing technical support to the internal employees, clients and vendors of client across the globe.
Desired Profile:
Advanced knowledge of Sybase and Oracle.
Advanced knowledge in backup and restore mechanisms
Hands on experience in Sybase Replication and Oracle RAC environment
Unix Shell scripting
Working knowledge on PL/SQL
A solid understanding in system management disciplines and ITIL processes. ITIL foundation certification is preferred.
Knowledge of ’best practice’ processes in infrastructure monitoring.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal successfully with all levels of customers and staff
Ability to set clear achievable goals, set priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to challenge existing processes and procedures
Experience in basic database performance tuning.
Be customer focused and have skills in dealing with competing priorities between business and BAU cost minimisation.
Good knowledge of Unix operating systems, capable of OS level scripting
Demonstrates an understanding of business operations, processes and system requirements. Experience in Financial industry and Banking industry is preferred
Experience in implementing and administering of centralised database monitoring and alerting tool – Grid Control
