Job Description:
Job Purpose Statement:
Performs routine duties to support the timely & effective processing of Customer Financial Services transactions.
Focuses on providing the optimum CE whilst complying with locally defined standards & procedures.
Key Accountabilities:
Performs timely & accurate input of data to relevant system/s which directly impacts the accuracy of Customer Accounts and FedEx receivables & reporting capabilities. Includes performing simple credit checks, keying manual billing items, and routine cash application.
Performs timely & efficient scanning of Customer paperwork (customs documentation, remittance advises, queries etc). Includes setting up the scanner, checking the legibility of images & reconciling total scans to batch information.
Creates accurate index data either by manual keying of information or utilising indexing software.
Supports the effective control of defined types of information by following established procedures to create manageable batches. Performs simple reconciliations to ensure accuracy & completeness of data, resolving any anomalies encountered.
Performs basic procedural checks on information or paperwork (receiving & sorting mail, opening post including performing cheque validation etc) in accordance with local standards & requirements.
Accurately sorts & prepares invoices for mailing eg mix & match, extracting relevant documents & performing a controlled hand-over of exceptions. Creates appropriate records of items processed.
Performs related support duties, including support for other CFS functions, as & when required.
